Founders Hall Art Gallery, Soka University

1 University Drive, Aliso Viejo, Ca 92656

Aliso Viejo, CA – January 7, 2020, / – Interdisciplinary artist Farr Ligvani will debut his latest show, Evolution: Noumenon to Phenomenon. His featured works will expand upon the fundamentals of change and transformation, as well as transitions between ideation, development, resistance, and amalgamation of what becomes our reality. This collection will depict the progression, expansion, and evolution of obstacles through 2-dimensional codes representative of concepts, into a tangible 3-dimensional form, representative of physical creation.

The solo exhibition will run from January 16 to May 4, 2020 at the Founders Hall Art Gallery at Soka University, with an opening reception on January 23rd from 5:30pm-9:00pm.

For the past several decades, Ligvani has been seeking to identify the common principles and phenomena that exist in the structure of all creation. The evolution series expands upon his previous installation entitled “Obstacleism” that described the way in which obstacles are the benevolent impediments without which life would not exist.
